Earl Lawrence

President

Alexander Irvine

Secretary

My wife Mary Jean and I live at 1018 N. Oakwood Rd. where we raised our six children. I was born in Glasgow, Scotland and when I was six years old my family moved to Newark, New Jersey.

In October of 1989 I was appointed a Commissioner of the Sanitary District and have held a position since then. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering that I put to good use at Thilmany Pulp & Paper for over 20 years.

Currently we raise Morgan horses and some beef cattle. We are members of the Wisconsin State Horse Council and are quite active in the Midwest Horse Fair and working with area youth groups. I received an award for "Adult of the Year for Youth Work" from the American Morgan Horse Association. In my spare time I like to sing and am also a member of the Appleton MacDowell Male Chorus.

The biggest change I have seen in the Sanitary District is the implementation of an excellent potable water supply. The District strives to give excellent service to the residents in the town while maintaining a low cost municipal water and sewer system. I would like all District residents to know that I am here to serve you and can be contacted at my home for any questions or concerns you may have.

Michael Gelhar

Commissioner

My wife Kathy and I live at 417 Oak Crest Dr. where I enjoy spending time with my family, taking walks and bike touring.

During 1987-2003 I worked for the Sanitary District doing maintenance work and from 1986-1992 I served as a Commissioner for the Sanitary District and was reelected in 2005.

Currently I am a plant foreman for the city of Oshkosh Wastewater Treatment Plant where I have worked for 32 years and have an Advance Wastewater Operators Certificate. In 2001 I retired from the Air Force Reserves after 31 years of service.

Being an active blood donor for the Community Blood Center and Red Cross, I recently received an award for donating 25+ gallons of blood.

One of the biggest changes I have seen in the District is the installation of a Municipal water system. I see a continued growth in the Sanitary District and my goal is to work with the District employees in continuing to provide a high quality service for the residents.

I am available for any of your concerns and would like to thank everyone for your support in my last election and giving me the opportunity to serve you.
